Does this replacement battery for my macbook seem legit?
I’ve had my macbook for over 2 years and the battery is starting to die.
I could do what apple wants me to and purchase a replacement from them which will cost £109

or get one on ebay

If I were to get the ebay one it would obviously be much cheaper, but what’s the catch? Will it harm my computer, last only a couple of months? I’m a little lost here, any advice would be great, thank you.
Usually those Ebay batteries work ok, they are all (including Apple’s) made in China. That said, ask the ebay seller what the warranty period is before you buy, they don’t list it…….
The odd one may come as defective, that happens – again check on return policy before buying. I’ve bought several laptop (Dell/Toshiba) replacement batteries on Ebay with no problems (so far)
